The church had a special service today. We had a good crowd out to the service and three people accepted Christ.
The children's class and teen class both prepared a short drama for the people. The children's play was about a day in the life of Jesus before his death. The teen play was on the resurrection. Both were a blessing.
Below are a few pictures.

Oasis Baptist....
The Oasis Baptist Church is the fourth church that L.A.O.M. has started. This work has been different for us because we have been able to start the church with a "trained" national helping.
The reason this is such a blessing is that our job is completed much quicker than normal. We are church planters and this job description includes planting a church, training a national, and turning the church over to national leadership.
The national who is working with us is a graduate of a Bible Institute. His wife is also a Bible Institute graduate. For us, this is such a blessing. We are able to share the work load instead of carrying the whole load ourselves. Of course there is always the fine tune training that has to be done, but that is easier when there is a base to work with.
Continue to pray for the growth of Oasis Baptist. We are excited each week to see what God is doing among us.

Increase the fruits of your righteousness....
PRAISE GOD! We saw five souls saved this month of September. Pray for the following people:
1. Damaris Acosta
2. Margarita Tapia
3. Silvia Herrera
4. Lorena Herrera
5. Joshua Rogers
Each of these new believers will be starting a new converts discipleship class to help them learn about their new life in Christ.
If you pray for our ministry or financially support our ministry these people are FRUIT to your account! Isn't God good?

First Church Service
Our first official service was today. There were 17 people in attendance and a sweet spirit. We thank God for what He did today, it was very encouraging and we are looking forward to seeing what He will do next week.
In total there were five families. Each family went away with the desire to invite more people for next week. Just continue to pray for us that God would bless our work here.
This Thursday we will be welcoming the arrival of Luis, Marina, and Victoria Sosa from Veracruz. They will be working here full-time with us. Please pray for them. They have been trying to raise support for 24 months to help them as they get adjusted to this new city. They will hopefully be supported full time by the Church as it grows.
